Our new office at Powell is fully accessible for wheelchairs and mobility devices, and includes 1 ADA parking spot, ground floor entry, ADA bathroom, halls, doors, handles, and office spaces.
All providers may use interpretive services for multi-language speakers. Brave Space is committed to helping identify, train, and use interpreters who understand and respect diverse gender experiences, and who minimize misinterpretation, misgendering, or outing clients to others. Forms are currently only offered in written English, and can be offered in large font if requested.
Brave Space is directly on the #9 busline with a wheelchair accessible bus-stop directly outside of the office. The #75 bus is 3 blocks away; sidewalks are partially wheelchair accessible.
Multiple providers specialize in working with people who are neurodiverse. The waiting room is equipped with private seating areas.
Brave Space welcomes assistance animals to our space as long as they are under the control and supervision of their person. If others in the office have severe allergic reactions or phobias of animals, Brave Space retains the right to coordinate alternatives to service to accommodate all needs.
Brave Space hopes to add ASL speaking providers soon.
